ONLINE PILATES

Exercise at home, on holiday or even at work by joining an online class.

These classes are NOT recordings, but are 45-minute long live and interactive video conferencing calls via Zoom. This means I can see you and you can see me. I will be directing you and correcting you as you go. So you do not have to worry about whether you are doing it right. It also means I can change the exercise to suit you if you are struggling or to challenge you if its getting a bit easy.

Exercising from home or wherever you may be saves you on travel time, parking and family management hassles. Kids and pets can join in if they want to!

Pilates will change your body with regular practice. I recommend 2 to 3 sessions a week.

The classes have small numbers. There is a maximum of 15 people per class but typically there is less than this.

You can be assured I WILL see you. Have a look at this video sample of one of my online pilates classes via Zoom. This should give you an idea about our classes.

 

 

MAT PILATES

Mat Classes will strengthen your Power House. The deep core muscles that lift and support your spine.

When you are connected to your Powerhouse each exercise in the mat sequence will both stretch and strengthen your body. You will be working all the muscles of your body uniformly, giving you a complete workout.

Your mind will be completely engaged with directing your body. It is a wonderful way to practice mindfulness.

By adding a Pilates session to your day you will unburden your body of tension, creating in its place the space for happiness to flow in.

SEATED PILATES

Get all the benefits of strengthening your POWER HOUSE without having to get down to the floor to work out on a mat.
Using the principles of Pilates you will safely stretch and strengthen your body while also improving your balance.


With a strong, supple and stable body, you will: Be in control, confident and able to keep doing all the things you love.

 

 

CIRCUIT CLASS

New for 2024 our Circuit Classes will run as a 4-week course, ideal for beginners and those new to Pilates studio apparatus or those looking to restart Pilates after an absence. I will cover the basic principles of Pilates and help you develop an understanding of this work, the equipment and its benefits.

The classes are designed for 3-4 people and will cover work on Pilates equipment: a combination of Tower, Mat, Reformer, Wunda Chair and Spine corrector.

 
 

 

YOUR FEEDBACK

I started seated Pilates to improve my balance and I have found the classes invaluable. Mary has proved to be an excellent teacher who offers a varied programme in a gentle manner.

The classes are well paced and Mary is encouraging and supportive. There is an emphasis on good technique and requests for a focus on particular body parts are welcome. The online classes are an added bonus, so even when on holiday I can participate classes.
